The Holosun K footprint

The Holosun K is a pistol optic footprint that mounts with 2 screws (screw_through). 8 red dot optics use the Holosun K footprint, including the Holosun EPS-CARRY-GR-MRS, Holosun EPS-CARRY-RD-MRS and Holosun HE407K-X2-GR.

Modified RMSc pattern. Identical screw spacing and front lug positions to RMSc, but the rear recoil lugs are removed - only two front lugs with shallower recesses. The modification enables the waterproof rating on K-series optics. Used by Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, and EPS Carry. K-cut slides cannot directly accept RMSc optics; RMSc-cut slides require an adapter to mount K-series optics (or modification - filing down the rear lugs).

Frequently asked

What optics use the Holosun K footprint?

8 optics use the Holosun K footprint, including the Holosun EPS-CARRY-GR-MRS, Holosun EPS-CARRY-RD-MRS, Holosun HE407K-X2-GR and Holosun HE507K-X2-GR.

How is the Holosun K footprint mounted?

The Holosun K footprint uses 2 screws and a screw through mounting style. It also incorporates 2 recoil lugs to resist rearward movement under firing.

Is the Holosun K footprint part of a larger family?

The Holosun K is its own independent footprint standard. Optics using this footprint are not cross-compatible with other footprint families unless an adapter plate is used.
