The ACRO footprint

The ACRO is a pistol optic footprint that mounts with 1 screw (dovetail_clamp). 5 red dot optics use the ACRO footprint, including the Aimpoint ACRO C-2, Aimpoint ACRO P-1 and Aimpoint ACRO P-2.

Aimpoint ACRO P-1/P-2 enclosed-emitter pattern. NO top-down screw holes on the optic body. Fixed via a single cross-bolt clamp on the side that engages a dovetail-style groove on the mount; a perpendicular recoil stopper on the optic body engages a slot on the mount. Resembles Picatinny but is not interchangeable with it. Cross-compatible with Steiner MPS and Vector Optics Frenzy Plus, each of which uses a minor variant fitting ACRO-pattern adapters.
